2019 : Semester at Sea!

changed my life

I had my phone stolen in Brazil — forced me to stop living through a screen & connect with the moment in front of me.

I had brought along my dad’s old DSLR camera but left it on the ship while we were in Europe & Africa, nervous that it made me a target for tourist traps.

Without a phone, that camera was all I had to preserve memories.
