Sydney Leemhuis

Sydney Leemhuis is a Denver-based photographer and content strategist who helps artists and creative entrepreneurs translate their ideas into memorable visual brands.

As the founder of Squid’s Ink Media, Sydney helps creatives take greater ownership of how their work is presented online. The creative media agency brings photography, websites, social media, and content together into cohesive digital ecosystems designed to build stronger, more sustainable online presences.

Sydney is also the photographer behind sydney.lee.jpg, her photography practice specializing in live music, concerts, festivals, artists, and creative portraiture.

Sydney earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Communication from Colorado State University, where she studied documentary storytelling, writing, interviewing, photography, and video. Her education also included international study through Semester at Sea, with coursework exploring globalization, cultural anthropology, and philosophy.

Based primarily in Denver, Colorado, Sydney returns to Northwestern Pennsylvania for select projects throughout the year. She is also available for festival, tour, and destination photography across the United States and beyond.
